It’s important we do not panic, but as a society our response to this challenge does need to be vigilant. I am encouraging our Madison office to work from home as much as possible in the coming days. Those that work in essential services, need and should go to work, and we thank you for what you do. If it at all possible, working from home should be considered.
Preliminary reports suggest young and/or healthy people should withstand the virus in great numbers. However, those people that show no symptoms and may not even know they are infected, but could still be a danger to others if they continue to maneuver around society like they normally would, by spreading the virus to the more vulnerable populations.
If we do not overwhelm our healthcare system, we are more than capable of dealing with the CoronaVirus with great success. For that to happen, people need to be smart. That means stay home unless you absolutely need to go out. Our healthcare professionals are some of the best in the world, and we can really help them out. We are all going to need to sacrifice in the days ahead for the betterment of society. As Americans, we rise to the challenge every time, that’s what we do, I expect this time to be no different.
