Vice President Mike Pence Visits the State Capitol
Vice President Mike Pence became the first sitting Vice President to step inside the Wisconsin State Capitol this week. In celebration of National School Choice Week, Vice President Pence delivered a speech in front of hundreds of young students from across Wisconsin. I firmly believe that parents should have the right to decide what education best suits their children. I want to thank Vice President Pence for visiting Wisconsin and for this administration’s commitment to upholding the right of school choice.

Clean Water Advocacy Meeting
Rhinelander Mayor Chris Frederickson and residents from around Northern Wisconsin stopped by my office this week to discuss current clean water initiatives in the State Legislature. The Speaker’s Task Force on Water Quality recently recommended a package of bills related to improving water quality in Wisconsin, and we had a great discussion regarding the impact those bills will have throughout the Northwoods moving forward.
