Meet Cody


Cody was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin. After graduating from East Troy High School he then went out to earn his B.A. in Marketing from UW-Whitewater and then his law degree from Marquette University. Cody is a former assistant district attorney for the Walworth County District Attorney. He has also worked for the Public Defender and the Wisconsin Supreme Court. 

Cody is the Chairman of the Committee on Regulatory Licensing Reform, Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Judiciary and also serves on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety, Federalism and Interstate Relations, Judiciary, and Sporting Heritage committees.

Cody is a member of the Wisconsin Historical Society Board of Curators, Carroll University President’s Advisory Council, Old World Wisconsin Foundation Board, the YMCA of Mukwonago Board, YMCA of Greater Waukesha County, Mukwonago Area Chamber of Commerce, NCSL Occupational Licensing Consortium, and the Polish Heritage Alliance.

Cody has a true passion for public service and the law. This has led him to his work both at the county level and in Madison as the representative for the 33rd Assembly District in addition to managing his own law firm Horlacher Necci, focusing on personal injury cases.
