Hello,

Last Thursday, as part of my in-district day, I presented a plaque to Vern and Edith Knoespel to congratulate them on the 55th anniversary of Vern's Cheese, a small business in Chilton. Family owned businesses such as Vern's Cheese do so much to support our local communities. I wish the best of luck to Vern's Cheese in the years to come!

Touring Manufacturing Plants in Manitowoc    

After my visit with Vern's Cheese, I stopped by Parker Hannifin Corp and Jagemann Stamping Co. for a couple of tours from their plant managers that showed what kind of things they build at these facilities. It's exciting to see how local manufacturing companies make such a big impact locally and around the country. 

Kyle Schleucher, Plant Manager at Parker Hannifin Corp., has been with Parker Hannifin for over 12 years. With Kyle's help, P-H has turned into one of the area's most successful companies. 

Greg Jagemann, Manufacturing Manager at Jagemann Stamping Co., has helped make Jagemann Stamping a major employer in the Manitowoc area. Since being founded in 1946, Jagemann Stamping has changed quite a bit, but Greg is proud to work at the company that his family built. 

  Listening Sessions - Thanks for the input!  

Later that day, I hosted two listening sessions in Manitowoc and in Chilton to listen to what you had to say about what goes on in Madison. I really appreciate it when you come to these events, as it gives us the opportunity to talk face to face about any questions you may have, or ideas for future legislation.
