Remembering Don Seehafer

CaptureSeehafer.JPG

Hello,

Please join me in remembering Don Seehafer, who recently passed away at the age of 84. Don was heavily involved in local radio broadcasting throughout his career and was heavily involved in the local community in Manitowoc.

In 1976, Don created Seehafer Broadcasting and went on to establish an FM station in Wausau and acquiring WQTC 102.3-FM as well as stations in Janesville, Rochester, MN, Winter Haven, FL, Wisconsin Rapids, and eventually Marshfield.

Through the course of his life, Don was involved in many organizations both professionally and personally. Don was truly an inspiration to his local community.

Thank you for visiting!

IMG_20200211_142040(resize).jpgThis week, Connie Thimmig from Felician Village came to visit me and brought with her some nice people who have dealt with Alzheimer's in their life. We talked about finding new ways to help those who struggle with Alzheimer's and Dementia.

IMG_20200211_141643(resize).jpgAlso visiting me this week were people from the Manitowoc Library and the Manitowoc-Calumet Library System. We talked about how important libraries are to our local communities.

If you would like to meet with me either in the 25th district or in Madison, please contact me at 608-266-0315 or Rep.Tittl@legis.wisconsin.gov

Revealing a bill package to help our farmers

IMG_8346(resize).jpg

On Monday I joined my Assembly Republican colleagues on a farm in Appleton to reveal a package of bills that are aimed at helping Wisconsin farmers. These would include an estimated $9 million in available sole proprietor health insurance deductions and a three-year targeted tax credit for the state's smallest farms.

WFRV Local 5 and Fox 11 out of Green Bay did a news story on the bills and our press conference. You can read more about our bills from local news stations here and here

Do you know a service member currently serving overseas from our area?

If you know someone from our area in the service who is serving overseas, please email us their name, address in the local area, and where they are stationed at and in what country. I am currently working on a proposal with several of my colleagues in the Assembly, and would like to see who from my district is currently serving overseas.
