Testifying for My Farm Equipment Lemon Law Bill

Hello,

Yesterday I testified with Senator Jerry Petrowski (Marathon) before the Senate Committee on Transportation, Veterans, and Military Affairs in support of my lemon law bill for implements of husbandry. Under this bill, if a farmer has a repeating defect with their implement of husbandry, they can send it back to the manufacturer for it to be fixed. If it can't be fixed, the manufacturer can send them a check for a full refund.

This is a common sense bill that will help struggling Wisconsin farmers. At a time when farmers are experiencing mounting pressure to turn a profit, this bill give them much needed relief.

Also joining me in testifying was Tom Fries, a farmer and a friend of mine from Newton. Tom has been instrumental in getting this bill to this point in the legislative process. Thank you for your help, Tom!

You can read more about the bill here.
