Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable day with friends and family. It is a great day to reflect on the blessing we have as a state and a nation.

Here in Wisconsin, there is good economic news to be thankful for. Our state ranked second in the nation for the number of manufacturing jobs gained over the last year, and ranked first in the Midwest. This is according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Our private sector job numbers also remain at an all-time high.

We also have another ranking to be thankful for. The tax burden in Wisconsin is at its lowest level in 50 years. That means government is taking less of your hard-earned dollars and more if it remains in your wallet. Our state exports are increasing, tourism dollars are up, and we are ranked as a top ten business-friendly state.

While we may disagree on certain things we all have much to be thankful for. Enjoy the turkey!

Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner
