The general fishing season opens tomorrow, May 1. Over the last year, getting outside and enjoying our state’s natural resources has been a popular pastime.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has published a fishing forecast which you can access here. DNR is predicting a successful opening weekend. Good luck, anglers!
JFC to Begin Budget Writing Next Week
Throughout the month of April, the Joint Committee on Finance (JFC) traveled the state listening to Wisconsinites concerning their priorities for our biennial budget.
Today, it was announced that we will officially begin our work writing the budget next week. Our first Executive Session on the budget has been scheduled for Thursday, May 6 at 11am.
