Steineke Applauds Skowronski’s Legislative Efforts

MADISON – The Wisconsin State Assembly passed Assembly Bill 250, authored by Representative Ken Skowronski (R-Franklin), during an Assembly floor session this afternoon. AB 250 makes changes to the current licensing system for sign language and deaf language interpreters. Assembly Majority Leader Jim Steineke (R-Kaukauna) released the following statement regarding Rep. Skowronski’s work on the bill:

“I extend my sincerest congratulations to my friend and colleague, Representative Skowronski, for his fortitude and perseverance in getting this bill to the Assembly floor. While some legislators choose to do their work through political stunts and theater, the reason this bill is making it across the finish line is because Rep. Skowronski did the hard legislative work required of a lawmaker. I applaud his work, and I am proud to put my support behind him and this legislation.”
