A 2018 Agenda That Reflects What Matters
Wisconsin Assembly GOP Unveils Agenda centered on four widely supported pillars
Madison – Today, Assembly Republicans outlined priorities for the upcoming spring legislative session at a press conference in the Assembly Parlor. Following the event, Majority Leader Jim Steineke (R-Kaukauna) released the following statement:
“We are taking the ideas we’ve heard from neighbors, friends, voters, and fellow Wisconsinites around the state and turning those shared priorities into some hard-hitting legislation. Time and again, we hear about economic development, healthcare, welfare reform, and education.
“We hit the ground running a year ago, accomplishing over 50 of the items we identified in our Forward Agenda. Building upon successes from the past few months, we have outlined an aggressive agenda that prioritizes the needs of millions of our fellow citizens. I look forward to the next several weeks of working hard with Governor Walker to again deliver results.”
