The 2007-2008 Wisconsin Blue
Book, the 88th edition in a series that began in 1853, is now available. The
feature article in this edition is "Those Who Served: Wisconsin Legislators
1848-2007". As usual, the Blue Book contains the biographies
and photos of Wisconsin's elected public officials, the text of the Wisconsin
Constitution, and a detailed description of the organization and functions of
state government. There is also a statistical section providing diverse
information on the state.
By law, the price of the Blue Book is based on the actual cost of
printing and distribution. Members of the Wisconsin Legislature are provided
with a limited number of Blue Books for distribution to constituents. If
you are a Wisconsin resident, you may wish to check with your legislator
regarding the availability of a complimentary copy. To find your legislator -

web page. Copies are also provided to
libraries, schools, and certain public officials specified by statute.
Although the Blue Book is compiled by the Legislative Reference Bureau,
sales are handled by the Document Sales Unit of the Wisconsin Department of
